GPs and GGD-Den Haag against domestic violence


GPs in the region hit with the opinion Haaglanden and Support Domestic Violence (ASHG) join hands to discuss domestic violence to make. The Hague alderman Bert van Alphen (public health) Monday gave the kick-off for the cooperation project.
The alderman handed GPs a 'toolkit' that can help domestic violence in general practice discuss it. The kit contains information such as leaflets and a booklet on domestic violence. Research has shown that the effect of domestic violence as doctors identify and discuss making, said the municipality.
,, It is the first time that GPs in this way involved in tackling domestic violence. Together we win the fight against domestic violence,''said Van Alphen.
From Monday to Friday is the Week without Violence. GPs ask their patients if they ever have to deal with violence in their own home.
