Cancer patient remembers little of conversation with doctor

Cancer patients in an initial interview with a specialist to hear that there is a good chance that they will die from the disease, remember less maintenance than people whose chance of survival is better.
This is evident from a publication of Dutch and Australian scientists in the Journal of Clinical Oncology. One of them is Jesse Jansen of research Leveling. The more the doctor about the chance to tell the disease survive, the less the patient is reminded of the rest. That goes for both young and older patients.
